My poetry blog. This used to be another blog, when I tried to hide. I may create a third for just myself as I am feeling like a cross between a water purifier and a lint filter lately.

I have created this blog unlike God; I have material, He works with no medium. My material are stories and thoughts I have compiled over a few years. Some previously published, others new just for you. I started writing because I couldn't bear not to anymore. I have tried to quit and unlike smoking, I can't. It is both a vice and a virtue. And I will be honest with you, I think God talks to me: I mean directly. He may use bumper stickers, fortune cookies and ushers, but He speaks. God's timing is quite good too. Impeccable, actually.

Here's a proof:

I guess I think a blog is much like a pet dog and needs a really good name. And since I am erstwhile Latin student, only Latin would do. Not having Joe P. my Latin teacher's number I gambled with an online English to Latin translator.

Here's what happened:
1. I typed in: voice verbiage viscera.
2. Translated to Latin as: vox vocis viscus verbiage
3. Because I doubted the validity of the translation, I reversed it.
4. Translated vox vocis viscus verbiage from Latin to English: he who was born of the word
5. Gasp.
